Warm, steamy, inviting, seductive vocals reels the listener into Keith Rosewood's world. "Heaven Sent, (Kyla's Song), allows his audience to take a glimpse into a father professing his everlasting love to his child. Your heart strings will be stretched in various directions imaginable and waterfalls will flow voluntarily as this powerful ode showcases his mastery of his vocals.Keith Rosewood is a St. Louis native raised by his mother, father of one daughter, two sons, and brother of four siblings. His musical influences are Jamie Foxx, Jodeci, Boys II Men, Babyface, and producers Timbaland and Just Blaze.

At ages 7 and 9, the two brothers would record themselves vocalizing."Because of my brother's singing, he was very popular in high school, I would watch and secretly wanted to be like him," explains Rosewood. At 13 years old, he would sing all love songs Bobby Brown, Babyface, and others. As a freshman in high school, he studied the choir during rehearsals after school singing songs he thoroughly enjoyed. He joined 4AM at the age 16, a vocal group his brother formed as first tenor to round out the harmonies to complete their sound. The group later disbanded because of the wide age differences with the members of the ensemble, ages 16-32 respectfully.

Keith was introduced to Bernard Taylor and the late Rashad Burrows. "We would find staircases and sing beautiful harmonies," says Rosewood. In 1995, he was signed to Class Act Productions as a R&B artist. He became labelmates with Brad Young, Bernard Taylor, Rashad Burrows, and a group called Phaze. Though he never recorded one song, his foray into production began.

He used to record himself on "boom boxes" and tape decks using tapes and double cassette recorders. "I was layering harmonies the best way I knew how," explains Keith. At the studio, I was exposed to the Korg N63, ASR10, and more, he became a "gear junkie." At Class Act, he would be left overnight alone in the studio creating track after track. He would continue until his contract expired. To improve his musical ability, he would wait until the church was empty to play the piano. He would also go to Mars Music Plant and the Guitar Center to test the top of the line keyboards staying countless hours.

In 2003, Keith Rosewood built a custom recording studio from scratch. All the studio skills he attained gelled together from the basics of recording to processing recordings. Using the Roland Fantom X6, he created 4,000 tracks, he also built a catalog of songs and tracks for the marketplace. He opened his home studio and engineered countless session hours over five years.

Keith has done several shows and collaborations with other artists. He produced and wrote songs for several artists, wrote raps, as well releasing a Hip-Hop mixtape two years ago called Heaven and Hell, "I am a writer, so rapping comes naturally," says Rosewood.

Keith Rosewood is currently promoting Urban Lover, a R&B sampler CD and working on his next album, Lady's Night. Be on the look out for his releases and let him take you on the Keith Rosewood "Experience!"
